THE HORSE HAS NO EGO

The horse has no ego. He doesn’t hold a grudge. He is very forgiving. He doesn’t care how much money you have and he doesn’t care what you are wearing.

We are different here at the Academy. Once you experience learning here, you will never want to learn any other way.

Our classroom might be the pasture or arena. We might be at the barn or around the campfire. You might be sitting in a saddle or in a rocking chair.

Or, maybe, you’ll be at Philosophers’ Knob.

But you will never be far from a horse.

Bunkhouse series

Join us at the BUNKHOUSE. Where horses and communication are the focal point.

We do things backwards. Get to know the speaker first over a hearty meal, then put yourself in their story and take part in the question and answer portion of the program at the end.

That’s the Bunkhouse Series.

The CAMPFIRE has always been a small gathering of cowboys around the dancing flames.

Take a seat and lend your ears and heart to the conversation, just like the cowboys before you.

Let your imagination take a ride with the storyteller.

Cowboys never missed the hot coffee & entertainment around the campfire before they found their bedrolls under the stars. And neither should you.

Here at the academy, we believe you are an integral part of our outfit and so do our horses.

Your generosity is noticed everywhere.

Time and money are parallel partners in any worth while not for profit.

Everything we do centers around the horses. Their soft eye, magnificent strength and gentle personality. It will forever impact their human friends.

Let’s call this part a blatant ask for your time and money. We also take inkind donations.

The academy needs all three.

Perhaps you would like to sponsor a horse or saddle or a rocking chair. Perhaps sponsor someone who would like to attend our program but doesn’t have the dollars.

The academy has needs that change. But the needs for partners is always constant.
